Emerald Ash Borer
Emerald Ash Borer (EAB) was identified in Freeborn County in 2021 near Alden, MN.
​
A quarantine has been placed in Freeborn County to help slow the spread of EAB to other areas in Minnesota.
​
This means it is illegal to transport ash logs, ash tree waste, ash chips/mulch and all firewood (non-coniferous) into & out of Freeborn County
