Administrative Professional
Freeborn County Soil and Water Conservation District (SWCD) is hiring an Administrative Professional to support its organization. Responsibilities include a variety of receptionist, clerical, financial, and administrative tasks to assist the SWCD’s work, staff, board, and activities. Key duties involve responding to inquiries, managing phone calls and directing them to the appropriate parties, distributing incoming mail, and maintaining supply inventories. Additional responsibilities include preparing and managing monthly financial records, reports, and statements in QuickBooks, as well as processing accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, and personnel records.

The Freeborn County SWCD is a local unit of government tasked with the governance and management of natural resource programs. Freeborn SWCD works with landowners and other governmental units in rural and urban settings to promote and direct programs for the conservation, use, and development of soil, water, and related resources. The organization works with private landowners regarding technical, financial, and educational services.
